The Bufflo River

This is a solo trip I took in late January to the Buffalo River in Arkansas.

The Plan

We all don’t live in Colorado, or have white top mountains out our windows. Some live in vertically challenge cities and suburbs, though I would love to have the CT or the PCT a step away from my back door. The Idea is to hike the places close to my house, i.e. Missouri, and Arkansas or a few hundred miles from my house (trails that don’t get a lot of information posted about them) write a short story or possibly a video, post it on my blog and hopefully help someone get some info that I found hard to get when I first started hiking. Did I say info, well maybe not real good info but at least some pictures or a description of what to expect.
